For the whole year of being 17— Evan was quite pompous and blusterous in his behavior. It was all quite innocent and not at all aggressive. There was great fun and joking with it. For most of the year— he would give a giant (and annoying) “thumbs up” sign when he was agreeing with something. One day in particular, he gave me the thumbs up right close to his face— and I felt it summed up that year’s behavior.
