I visited Evan in Hong Kong before he left. I found him reflecting on the Hong Kong skyline from the 19th floor of his apartment building. He was thoughtful, contemplative, and considering options for the future. The Hong Kong experience was expansive for him— not all of it positive, but certainly foundational in bringing him fully into adulthood and ownership of his future.
