Evan was my “nature boy”. He was always curious about every aspect of nature— insects, frogs, animals, earth, wildlife, stars. He was not interested in sports or video games or anything indoors. He longed to be outside— poking and discovering. One day- while in Florida on Spring break— he found this giant toad. He had to bring it to me to show. He was just as shocked at the size of it as I was! Of course we let him go.
